Hi Skiers,
In Cedar Falls/Waterloo we received approximately 3 to 3.5
inches of snow with the Friday night / Saturday storm. Not enough snow to do grooming but there is
enough snow to ski on grassy areas. I skate
skied both Saturday morning and again today on Sunday morning. My
skies would stick slightly on underlying grass occasionally but not too often.
It gets even better if you go out a couple of hours ahead of
time and pack down a lane with your snowshoes.
