Beat the thaw at Webster City!

Skiers who get out early this weekend should be rewarded with good to excellent trail conditions. Grooming of the 5k Five Hills race course and all sections of the Woodland Loop trail was completed while the temperatures were in the mid twenties. The Race course is hard packed powder with no ice. It is double wide and has a refreshed classic track laid. As of noon today there were only three small thin spots on the course. The Woodland loop is fast, with a good base. Since it is shaded it should hold up well. Grooming will not be performed during the thaw, but will resume with the proper conditions. Birky practice on the Five Hills course should be great. Please post a comment if you try it. Thanks, Pete.
