Webster City Back in Action Today

Webster City has had right at 6" in this storm so I groomed the Woodland trail with the waterfall loop, and double groomed and tracked the Five Hills 5k race track on the Briggs Woods Golf Course. There are thin spots on the race course, but with a grass base there are no "grabbers" or rocks to damage skis. Hopefully the grooming will hold the snow as the winds come up. A reminder that the Hamilton County Ski and Snowshoe clinic is at the Conservation Headquarters at Briggs Woods Saturday afternoon at 2PM. Free equipment is available in teen and adult sizes but registration is required if you need equipment. Call 515-832-9570. Following the clinic will be a soup supper, and a night ski and snowshoe is planned.
