Although the trails at George Wyth are quite icy the skate skiing at Gates Golf Course is quite good. No grooming just natural conditions. I skied at Gates for 2 ½ hours today (Sunday). It was necessary to pick and chose routes to avoid bare spots and patches of ice but there was plenty of good snow. If you ski there beware of rocks on either side of the bridge (the one bridge with some snow on it).
I’m confident that the skiing at Warren Memorial Golf Course (Byrnes Park) will be equally good. I will be checking it out in the next day or two. Jerry
