Prairie Springs XC Ski Trails - Cresco, Iowa

Groomed today. It was tough going, but I think the conditions are above average. We still have a foot or better packed base in most areas. Very few icy spots left after rejuvenating for four hours. Skating lanes have a decent amount of loosely packed snow. Classic tracks are about 75%. Some areas were difficult to get the tracksetter down all the way, but it should be decent considering the conditions. Not the perfect Birkie trail, but way better than no skiing at all. I haven't skied it yet, just got off the groomer. Will give it a shot tomorrow. Weather for the week is mid-teens to mid 20s with temps into single digits on Friday.
