The Knob was groomed on Saturday AM by our faithful lieutenant Mr. Jeff Hovinga of Forest City, IA. I did not make it to the Knob to ski this weekend but word is that the trail is in great shape. Maintenance of the trail has been much easier and skier enjoyment much greater thanks to the response of the snowmobile community. We have split the park's roadway with the snowmobilers and sharing the road is progressing well.
Jeff is rallying the troops in Forest City to consider purchasing grooming equipment for creation of ski trails at their local golf course. He is currently grooming trails there. So far his efforts have been well received. Give him some support ya'll. Go Jeff!
