The temperature was around 20 deg. f., the wind was around 20 mph out of the NW, and the sky was overcast.The classic track was hard and fast. There was only one section about 20 foot long that had grass coming through the bottom. Some of the edges had been flattened out, especially on the curves.
The skate lane also was hard and fast. In some places it was difficult to get a good push with the skis. The skate lane had been groomed since Saturday and has seen lots of traffic.
