Woodpecker and Squire Point

Foot traffic was light Saturday. The snow was powdery and cold, and afforded good turns in the steeps near the stairs. As usual, the trail was best farthest from the trailheads as foot traffic petered out. In total it was good skiing throughout for backcountry users. With Sunday's higher temps, traffic will probably be higher but there were no really thin spots, so skiing should be good until the next warm spell.
