The temperature this afternoon was around 27 deg. F., there was very little wind, and it was overcast.
The classic track was very fast and for what I could see there was snow cover in the bottoms of all the tracks. Of course some of the track was missing on the steeper hills on the small loop.
The skating trail was freshly groomed and was very nice for skating. The skis were sinking in about 1/2 inch which gave good grip to the side strokes, but did not retard the glide. Thank you Linn County groomers for doing such a nice job on the skate trail.
