Kevin was out putting the finishing touches on BC this morning when I got there. All of us out there should probably have let it set up before we skated on it but it was already 10:30 and I guess we just couldn't wait to get skiing.
Between Tom's work Wednesday night and Kevin's work this morning, there is a very nice classic track and the skate lane was fantastic. Frankly, I'm not sure how Kevin & Tom did it but BC is about as good as it has been since early in the year. Sure it's a little icy/hard packed in some of the transition areas and there are some classic track depth issues in the windswept areas but all in all it is great skiing. So if you have been worried that there will be too much ice or not enough good snow, stop worrying and get on out while you can.
