Adams Nature Preserve - Sioux City 1/27/2010
In what continues to be a challenging grooming year, we are back in action. We got 2 or 3 inches of snow on Sunday through Monday accompanied by 50 mph gusts which made for some large drifts over our ice crusted trails. We got another 1/2 inch this morning. I skied last night and, for the most part, the trails are in decent good shape given the warm and rain. The ice was able to be broken up and mixed with new snow to make for some fast skiing in several sections. There is still some work to do but I would anticipate we'll be in great shape by weekend with an attempt to reset all of classic tracks. Cody
