On Sunday, my wife and I were down for an hour and did some cleanup on Lake Loop. Yet the wind is far from being over. Somebody, probably on Saturday, did some skating on the soft and melting snow, which won't make any repair grooming any easier.
I wasn't able to measure the hard ice base.
The fresh snow made classic skiing quite enjoyable, let's hope for a bit more.
On the lake, there is a dead deer.
