There was about 2" to 3" of fresh snow on top of the frozen snow left after the rains. The temperature was 19 degrees with a 19 mile/hr wind out of the NW. Breaking new trails was as easy as following existing trails. It was quite enjoyable skiing in what was 3" of powdery snow and on top of the frozen snow below.
