Following is the current situation for Linn County Conservation ski trails as of Thursday evening, December 10:
Morgan Creek Park - The cross-country ski trail has been groomed and is ready for use. Approximately, an additional 1/2 mile of groomed trail has been added to the arboretum trail loop. Our snow plow broke down while clearing roads, so the only parking available today is at the arboretum parking area off Worcester Road. The main park road and associated parking should be cleared on Friday.
Wickiup Hill Outdoor Learning Center - Wickiup Hill Trails will be groomed Friday. Barring any unforeseen breakdowns or problems, the trails should be groomed shortly after noon on Friday.
Squaw Creek Park - Grooming will start Friday morning and trails should be ready for use by Friday evening.
Pinicon Ridge Park - The Polaris is not available to pull the groomer at this time. Efforts are being made to use equipment from another park when their grooming has been completed.
