Jester Park

Made it out to Jester on Saturday for a couple of loops on their classic track and boy am I glad I did. The track was firm and very fast - very fun skiing. It looked as though the track was re-set Friday or early Saturday morning and had very little use. For those of you unfamiliar with Jester there are basically 3 sections to their classic track, a lakeside loop that takes you down along Saylorville Lake, then you climb into the hills overlooking the lake and finally up into the park and onto a section of the golf course. Note that to get to the golf course section you do have to cross a road, and if you want to do the entire gc section you need to cross the road several times.

For you night skiers please note that Jester is NOT open at night. In a previous post I mentioned a possible night ski attempt but the Park's winter hours are sunrise to sunset and they do lock the gate.
