Made it out to Jester on Saturday mid-day. Great snow cover, maybe 98% with just a bare spot or 2 on the golf course section.
There is no skating at Jester. Their classic track is set with no rolling first so it was bound to be extremely soft, which it was, but it was in really good condition with a very nice glide even on waxless skis. Thanks to the folks at Polk County & Jester Park!
On the down side there was quite a bit of snowmobile damage to the track but not enough to ruin the skiing.
I'll try to get back out Tuesday or Wednesday to see what this freezing rain has done.
