This afternoon the wind was blowing at 15 to 20 m/hr and the temperature was around 15 degrees F. The snow had become crisper in the last 24 hours so the downhills were faster and the climbs more difficult than yesterday. Breaking new trails was as easy as following existing trails since the skis did not penetrate the snow more than few inches in most places.Ellis Golf Course is very hilly. It presents some challenges in the steep climbs, but also gives some nice downhill enjoyment. Of course there is no grooming, but then you are not limited to following trails.
