Decorah Trails

The trail system in Decorah never disappoints, even when conditions are less than perfect. The classic trail at Van Peenen Park today was hard as a rock but not so crusty that the kick was impacted. Parts of the trail had an amazing amount of debris from the high winds and rain but the sky was blue, the sun was out and we have enough snow to ski. The skate skiing at Luther proved to be more of a challenge as the trail there was very wind blown and many parts were decimated by "hikers" or deer with huge feet. Too bad.
