CENTRAL CITY - Pincicon Ridge

The trail was in great shape for skating at 9:00 in the morning. Some powder had blown in and made the skiing even better. I had a thought as I skied, probably misguided. If the skate lane made a loop in the open area by the trail head, it would create a nice figure 8 when skied with the campground loop. It wouldn't take much extra grooming as half the loop is already there leading down to the campground. This would create a litle extra mileage for skaters who might otherwise get discouraged having to cross the roads. Just a thought, and one way or the other, it's a great trail.
